Gavin discovered the power to unite communities as a 330 Ambassador for the LeBron James Family Foundation. Mentoring I PROMISE students, inspiring academic growth, and fostering a supportive environment allowed him to work at the center of impactful community engagement. This experience shaped his passion for leveraging intentional communication and engagement to drive positive change within his local community.

Years later, his awareness of climate change sparked a deep commitment to sustainability, leading him to immersing himself in the subject by participating in the Climatebase Fellowship, Footprints Camp, and SF Climate Week.

Through these experiences, Gavin found his purpose: making Cleveland the most sustainable city on the planet by using urban planning as a vehicle to drive inclusive community engagement and reduce our city's environmental impact.
